The Department of Psychiatry, established in 2003, is situated second floor of out-patient clinics of the Hospital.
The Department provides multiple subspecialty psychiatry services. There are 5 teams, namely, general psychiatry team, liaison psychiatry team, psychogeriatrio team, child & adolescent psychiatry team, and psychometrics team.
The department provides extensive consultation service to other Departments of the Hospital. Specialist out-patient clinics include general adult clinic, psychogeriatric clinic, child & adolescent clinic, clinic for drug abuse , sex clinic and sleep disorders clinic.
The Department has a long tradition of providing care by a multidisciplinary approach and team members include pscyhiatrists, clinical psychologists, general physician.
