¡°Beneficial Joint Repair, Great Strides in Taizhou¡±
Sino-America Joint Prosthesis Charity Activity (May 21st-28th, 2011)

Funded by Enze Medical Aid Fund, Healing the Children (HTC) and Stryker (China), Dr. Sean Hanley, Director of Orthopedics Center from Maine, America, came to Taizhou with his 3 colleagues to perform this charity activity.

We had answered 4,000 calls consulting about this charity service and about 200 patients applied for the surgery. 10 patients with joint problems were finally selected and had joint replacement surgery within 4 days. All of them enjoyed favourable outcomes, which in turn won a good reputation for the hospital.

At their spare times, these American doctors visited a local gerocomium and provided free medical services to the aged there.

¡°Seize Vital Five Minutes¡±
¡ªPALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Training Program (May 21st-28th, 2011)

Funded by Enze Medical Aid Fund, American Heart Association (AHA) and Healing the Children (HTC), Loretta London, vice president of AHA, came to Taizhou with her 7 colleagues from America and 2 Chinese doctors, to carry out PALS training program.

The training program lasted for 3 days with 29 trainees. Most of the participants came from different hospitals in Taizhou while some were from Wenzhou Medical College. After training, 28 trainees passed final examination and obtained PALS certificate issued by AHA.

At their spare times, these American experts visited a local child welfare home and brought gifts to the children there.
